Welcome to My Mixed Realities Production Blog
Explore my creative portfolio showcasing the 3 projects I was a part of throughout the 12-week Mixed Realities module. I am inviting you to dive into the work and process behind each of them, blending week-by-week production journaling with supporting imagery and academic reflection.
Projection Mapping
A collaborative three-screen projection mapping installation exploring the historical impact of the Hiroshima bombing through immersive visual storytelling. Using archive footage, spatial projection, and symbolic lighting effects, the piece transformed physical space into an emotionally driven museum-style experience. Developed using MadMapper, Adobe Premiere Pro, and multi-projector setups, the project focused on memory, propaganda, and historical reflection.
Immersive Audio
An immersive sound installation based on Freud’s Id, Ego, and Superego, allowing audiences to control competing elements of the mind through real-time interaction. Built in Ableton Live and controlled via TouchOSC, the experience used spatial speaker placement, layered ambience, and voice performance to create a dynamic psychological soundscape. The project explored audience agency, internal conflict, and interactive narrative through sound.
Augmented Reality
A location-based augmented reality tourism experience telling the story of The Beatles across five key chapters in Liverpool. Created using Hoverlay, Google MyMaps, and 3D assets, the project guided users through an interactive mobile tour combining history, navigation, and digital storytelling. Designed for visitors and fans alike, it reimagined cultural heritage through accessible AR experiences.
"This blog is an invaluable resource for anyone interested in innovative creative work and rigorous academic exploration. These projects are genuinely inspiring."
